VLC Extension
Some camera integrations require installation of VLC Extension files into the Patriot client installation directory.
If the extension is not installed, the operator will be prompted to download + install it automatically when first required, however it can also be installed in advance.

For x86: After downloading the extension installer, simply run it and ensure the destination folder is set to the Patriot client installation folder. This is typically
C:\Program Files (x86)\Patriot Systems\Patriot Version 6 Client -
For x64: After downloading the extension installer, run it and make sure the destination folder is set to the CameraViewer\x64 subdirectory within the Patriot client folder. This is typically
C:\Program Files (x86)\Patriot Systems\Patriot Version 6 Client\CameraViewer\x64
This step needs to be repeated on each workstation that will be viewing cameras.
Use Dedicated Process settings
In Workstation Settings > Client Cameras, the Use Dedicated Process option (visible only if a supported camera module like RTSPCamera is registered) enables the selected camera type to run in a dedicated x64 process.
Currently supports the RTSP Camera type. More camera types will be added in future updates.
