System Statistics Overview

Patriot generates statistics about its own operation to allow system administrators to easily monitor overall system health and proactively identify potential problems.

Patriot supports the following approaches to track system statistics:

Performance Counters

Patriot reports to the built-in Windows Performance Monitor. While this is primarily used for 'on-demand' viewing of system statistics, it can also be configured to record data collection over a longer period as well as trigger alerts when abnormal conditions are detected.

Open Telemetry Metrics

Patriot can export system statistics in the Open Telemetry standard format for metrics. This is a standardised common format which is supported by many major system observability + monitoring platforms.
