Plink - Tutorials overview
Overview
This guide provide Patrols with instructions on how to use the Plink App.
Logging into Plink
Prior to Patriot version 6.13.2.0, Plink version 13.2.2, the login process follows the 6.12 Plink Tutorial.
Connecting to Web Portal
The first time you open Plink, you will need to enter the Web Portal ID provided by your supervisor.

Once connected to the web portal, enter the Username provided by your supervisor.

If logging in for the first time, or if the device registration expired, you will be prompted to login using the same Username and the Password provided by your supervisor.

Once you see the success page, close the ICA window to return to Plink, where you will be logged in.

Passcode Protection
Upon log in a passcode can be set or optionally skipped. If set, Plink will require the passcode to be re-entered to access the app whenever the app is idle for 5 minutes or the application is closed.
When prompted to enter the passcode, a user can submit up to three incorrect passcodes within one minute before Plink will prevent further login attempts for an additional 60 seconds by locking the app. The user may still log out if Plink is in this locked state.
The Passcode will remain set until the user is logged out; at which point the passcode is discarded and will need to be set again during the next login process.
The app can be manually locked at anytime using the Lock App option in the main side-menu.
If the passcode was skipped during the login process it can be set at any point from the main side-menu.

Main Side-Menu Navigation
Patrols can access the main menu with the menu button at the top left, or the footer navigation options at the bottom the screen.
The Main Menu has the same navigation options as at the footer of the app, and also includes the Open ICA (Web Portal), Appearance (dark and light mode), Help, Lock App/Set Passcode, and Sign Out options.
