Nx Cloud Integration​

Nx Cloud is a simple way to connect to and manage an unlimited number of Nx Witness systems.

Patriot now supports live streaming and receiving alarm events from Nx Witness systems connected to the Nx Cloud platform, allowing easy connections to Nx Witness systems without on-site complexity. Live streaming is supported from both Windows desktop and ICA web clients.

New Network Video Stream Camera Integration​

Network Video Stream is a cross-platform replacement for Patriot's RTSP Camera integration, with minimal setup required.

  • Camera feeds can now be viewed from ICA via web browser, in addition to the Windows desktop client.
  • No client files need to be installed on Patriot Client workstations.

Switching an existing client from RTSP Camera to Network Video Stream is as simple as changing the client's Camera Type. No change is required in zone settings.

Advanced Reporting via External Reports​

Operators can now run external report applications directly from Patriot, without leaving their normal reporting workflow; an external report application is any program that takes arguments from Patriot and produces an output file.

Integrators can build flexible customised reports which can fetch data from not just Patriot (via GraphQL, REST API or direct from DB) but also from external APIs and data sources.

An external report is configured to behave just like a built-in Patriot report, so you get the same options you already rely on:

  • Automatic scheduling
  • Single activations, work orders, patrol jobs, and equipment lists
  • Configurable variable inputs

Output can be emailed automatically, so external reports reach the right people without any manual steps.

Talkback to Hikvision Network Speakers​

Operators can now talkback to Hikvision Network Speakers via Hik-Partner Pro integration.

Network speakers added to the Hik-Partner Pro platform can now be linked to a Patriot client zone just like a network camera.

Talkback to the speaker is supported in the standard camera view.

New Admin Tools​

Patriot now includes Admin Tools, a new utility for managing and configuring Patriot components.

Admin Tools provides a single place to edit Service settings and configuration. It covers all the functionality of the existing Patriot Configurator, and more. The Configurator remains available, so you can use both side-by-side.

Admin Tools is installed automatically alongside the Patriot Data and Task Services, and can be launched from the Windows Start Menu under Patriot Admin Tools.

Email Multi-Factor Authentication Code​

Users can now verify multi-factor authentication via email, in addition to the existing multi-factor authentication via authenticator app.

Email multi-factor authentication can be optionally enabled in the Operator security group settings.
