Major Version Changes
This is a major version upgrade, please see Upgrading to 6.14, and contact Patriot support to arrange your upgrade.
New .NET 10 Runtime
Patriot now runs on the Microsoft .NET 10 runtime. The previous .NET 8 runtime reaches end-of-support in November 2026. This upgrade ensures continuous support including security patches and platform updates from Microsoft.
New SQL Server Minimum Version
Patriot now requires Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or later. The previous minimum, SQL Server 2016 SP3, reaches end-of-support in July 2026.
If you are running an earlier version of SQL Server, you will need to upgrade your database server before updating to 6.14.
Encrypted Service Communication Changes
Patriot now uses HTTPS to secure communication between the Data Service and clients, replacing the previous Windows-based encryption.
If you are using the Encrypted communication option, you will need to configure a TLS certificate before upgrading.
Retiring Legacy Features
Some legacy features have been removed in this release:
- Legacy workstation scheduled reports
- Display Legacy Features system-wide setting
Key Highlights
ICA Bulk-import zones and users from CSV
ICA now supports bulk-importing of zones and users from CSV. The Import CSV button is available on the Add Multiple Zones and Add Multiple Users pages, as well as on the Client Change Request form. After selecting your file, a mapping screen lets you match each CSV column to the corresponding field, with a preview of sample values to confirm the mapping.

ICA Customisable Sort Ordering
Sorting controls have been added to the Patrol, Dispatch, Work Orders, and Client Billing Transaction lists. Users can now order each list to suit their workflow, bringing the most relevant records to the top and making specific entries easier to find.
Other Improvements
- Improved handling of Task Commands to unresponsive tasks
- The SMS Global task now allows selecting the target Port ID for received SMS messages
- Fixed an issue with Change Request schedules for clients in different timezones
- Fixed an issue that could prevent users from viewing the Dispatch Job List without the Client Grouping access right
- Fixed an issue causing some camera tasks to report receiver timeouts incorrectly
