What's New in 6.13
Patriot 6.13 introduced a range of new features across cloud camera monitoring, ICA client management, patrols, billing, and system observability. This page summarises the key features added throughout Patriot 6.13.
Platform and Requirements
6.13 is a major version upgrade with some changed requirements and retired features:
- SQL Server 2016 SP3 or later is now required. SQL Server 2014 is no longer supported.
- Legacy billing integration has been retired, including Legacy Customer Billing, all Billing Run batch types except External Billing, and the Odoo, MYOB, and CSVMaker tasks.
- The Legacy GraphQL Base64 file content compatibility flag has been removed. Reports and queries should use image links instead.
- The Background Reports operator login type is no longer supported. Migrate scheduled reports to a Patriot Reports Task.
- The ICA HeaderHtmlUrl customisation option has been removed.

Highlights
Dahua DoLynk Camera Monitoring ⭐
Patriot gained a full monitoring integration for cameras connected to the Dahua DoLynk cloud platform, allowing connections to Dahua cameras without on-site complexity. The integration grew over the 6.13 releases to include:
- Live streaming of DoLynk cameras.
- Alarm events received directly from the DoLynk cloud platform.
- Remote arming and disarming of DoLynk camera systems from Patriot, with event reporting automatically suppressed while a site is disarmed.
- Video event view and playback, letting operators view recorded event clips side-by-side with live video during an activation response, with full playback controls.
- Reference frames captured automatically each time a site is armed, shown during the alarm response.
- Multiple stand-alone IP cameras (IPC) per client, with or without an NVR.
ICA Client Change Requests ⭐
Change Requests expanded to cover routine client maintenance while keeping approval controls in place:
- Operators can submit change requests against the Client User List for existing users.
- Change Requests can be edited after submission and before completion, so submitters and reviewers can correct errors, add detail, and manage zones, users, and schedules without raising a new request.
Patrol Job History Map ⭐
An interactive map on the Patrol Job run-sheet in ICA gives instant visibility into where and when patrol activity takes place, showing patroller locations on and off site, the geofence zone radius, where each job item was completed, and where photos and notes were uploaded. This helps verify activity, improve accountability, and review job history.
Auditing Client Record Access ⭐
Patriot now logs operator access to client records as a system event (event type 65243), giving administrators an audit trail of which records operators have viewed.
Patrol Scheduling Reports ⭐
Two new customisable GraphQL reports make it easy to plan recurring and ad-hoc patrols by showing upcoming jobs grouped by run group and day, so a free slot for a new job is easy to find:
Repeat and Scheduled Billing Charges
The same charge type can now be assigned to a client more than once. Fee changes such as price increases can be scheduled ahead of time (set the end date of the existing fee to match the start date of the new one for a seamless transition), and multiple customers can be billed for the same client service.
System Health Metrics
Upgraded support for external observability platforms such as Grafana Cloud. A new healthcheck endpoint (disabled by default) allows external polling of overall system health, and additional task monitoring and signal processing fault metrics were added to Patriot's OpenTelemetry output.
Auto-Dialler WebSocket API
A WebSocket API for the Auto-Dialler lets Patriot and third-party developers add support for new phone systems without requiring a Patriot update. It has already been used to integrate Cisco BroadWorks.
Multi-Knock Inactivity Suppression
When using multi-knock to suppress false alarms, a timeout can now be configured outside of which a single knock will not escalate, the multi-knock timeout is reset instead. This was extended from non-priority action plans to all multi-knock action plans.

Custom GuardLink Dispatch Request Forms
Monitoring stations can customise the structured Dispatch Request data sent on outbound GuardLink jobs based on job type or dispatch provider, supporting providers that require a specific data structure.
