WILSAR Dispatch

Wilsons Security allow dispatch requests to be submitted into their WILSAR dispatch system.

Patriot integrates with WILSAR to allow operators to submit a WILSAR dispatch request from within Patriot.

Prerequisites

  • The Wilsons Dispatch module must be registered.

Setup

  1. Create a Wilsons Dispatch task.

    • Wilsons Security can provide a "Username", "Password", "Bureau ID" and "Monitoring Station ID". For the "Service URL" use https://prod.websvc.r2.wilsonsecurity.com.au WILSAR Service Settings. The Wilsar Reference ID Field is to determine which Patriot customer field is used to link to the customer record in Wilsons Database.
  2. Create a user to represent the Wilsons Security patrol company.

    • Under Remote Access Tab of this user, enable "WILSAR Dispatch".

Send Dispatch Request via WILSAR Dispatch

Within an active activation, click the Add Task icon of the Wilsons Security user. If this user supports multiple dispatch types then ensure "WILSAR Dispatch" is selected.

The dispatch form allows the operator to enter any additional information to be sent to WILSAR, once completed click dispatch.

The WILSAR task will periodically check the status of the dispatch in the WILSAR service and notes will be recorded against the dispatch and activation when changes are detected in the WILSAR service.

If the WILSAR service does not respond to the dispatch request within the Acceptance Warning Time configured in Patriot's System Wide Settings then a warning note will be logged against the dispatch job and the operator will be notified.

Updating existing/pending WILSAR jobs with additional info is not currently supported

Request Dispatch Cancellation

After a job has been sent to WILSAR, is it possible to request cancellation of the job. The ability to request cancellation depends on the current job status.

Within the activation, click the Cancel Dispatch icon on the Wilsons Security user. A cancellation request will be sent to WILSAR.
